I’m the owner of Nostalgic Home Interiors and my storefront, The Vintage Bee Collective. I’m a wife and a mom to a sweet daughter and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Lucy. Oh, and 22 chickens.

I’ve been collecting vintage items for as long as I can remember, and have had a passion for interior design since high school. I graduated college in 2009 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Interior Design. Since then, I’ve worked in many aspects of the field; flooring, furniture, residential building, and a few other design firms.

In 2020, I unexpectedly lost my son, Zachary, at 5 months pregnant. It turned my world around, and instead of crawling into a hole (which I desperately wanted to do), I lost 50 pounds and started my own furniture refinishing business. I got so busy that I quit my job in 2022 and never looked back.

Furniture refinishing somehow turned into selling vintage items online, which then turned into opening a storefront. I slowly phased out the furniture refinishing business, and finally started my interior design firm in early 2024. Since then, the store has become a combination of vintage furniture and decor, and my design center.

When I’m not spending time with my family or at a client’s home, you’ll find me surrounded by textile samples playing around in the bright light from the large windows in the mill.
